Christopher J. Grover, attorney, Jeffrey Freedman Attorneys, PLLC, has been named chair of the Bar Association of Erie County Committee for the Disabled. As chair, Grover will be responsible for furthering the committee’s goals of: educating the legal community about the special needs of the disabled; encouraging attorneys to represent clients with disabilities; advocating for accessible services for those with disabilities; and advocating for the rights of disabled persons by monitoring legislative and judicial trends.

Grover, a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law, focuses his practice on Social Security Disability claims and Bankruptcy Law. He is on the board of directors of the Lupus Alliance of Upstate New York; an Executive Council member of the Bar Association of Erie County Young Lawyers Committee as well as a member of the UB Law Alumni GOLD Group.
Grover, who said he is honored to serve as chair of the Committee for the Disabled, is a native of Elmira, NY, and has worked with the Freedman firm since 2009.
