Attorney Jeffrey M. Freedman Receives Two Honors

Jeffrey Freedman, Sr. Partner at Jeffrey Freedman Attorneys at Law has been named again to Who’s Who by Business First. Also this week, he was honored for the fifth consecutive year by being named to Super Lawyers (Top 50 in Upstate NY).

Mr. Freedman’s firm concentrates their legal work in the areas of Personal Injury Law, Social Security Disability, Consumer Bankruptcy and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act cases. Mr. Freedman is one of a handful of attorneys whose firm handles such a wide variety of consumer law matters. The firm’s in depth experience allows them to take on complicated and sensitive matters for a varied clientele.

Mr. Freedman has also been a past recipient of the Lawyer of the Year award from the Erie County Bar Association, served as a Trustee with the United States Bankruptcy Court for 8 years, and served as Chairman of the Erie County Bar Association’s Committee for the Disabled. Mr. Freedman is also a frequent lecturer at conferences held on a local, state and national level.

Mr. Freedman has developed a reputation as a problem solver and as an advocate for clients in need of assistance with a wide variety of consumer law matters.

Mr. Freedman has served on the boards of numerous private and not for profit organizations and was elected to two terms as Vice President of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Mr. Freedman has testified before the United States Congress, and has met with White House Officials on a variety of consumer matters advocating for his clients.

Pro Bono work has also been very important at Jeffrey Freedman Attorney’s at law. Mr. Freedman has been the recipient of the N.Y.S.B.A. President’s Pro Bono Award, and has been honored many times by a variety of non profit groups for dedication to service in the community.
