Jeffrey Freedman Speaks at National Social Security Disability Law Conference

Buffalo, NY  - On May 13, 2011, Attorney Jeffrey Freedman spoke at the 64th annual Social Security Disability Law Conference held in Baltimore, Maryland.

The conference was sponsored by the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), an organization dedicated to providing the highest quality representation and advocacy on behalf of persons who are seeking Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income.

Mr. Freedman lectured on a variety of issues that face claimant’s attorneys. In particular he focused on ways attorneys can improve various aspects of their representation of claimants applying for SSD or SSI benefits. The conference was well attended, with over 950 people present from across the United States, including judges, attorneys and officials from the Social Security Administration.

Other speakers included: Carolyn Colvin, Deputy Commissioner, Social Security Administration; Glenn Sklar, Deputy Commissioner, Office of Disability Adjudication and Review; and Nancy Schor, Executive Director of NOSSCR.

Mr. Freedman has been a sustaining member of the NOSSCR since 1980, and has been asked to speak at this conference numerous times.
