Freedman firm obtains $85 million in Social Security benefits for clients

Our firm had a busy 2025 for Social Security Disability (SSD) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) claims. The Social Security Administration (SSA) went through a lot of changes with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cutting staff and field offices, the government closure during October and November, and having a new Commissioner in charge. These changes meant our team had to work even harder to keep our clients’ claims moving and to keep the lines of communication open between clients, SSA offices, and ourselves.

Over 2025, Jeffrey Freedman Attorneys, PLLC, settled 285 claims. These clients received over $6.5 million in back benefits. In addition, each client will receive an average of $1,540 per month, or $18,500 per year. Since the average age of our clients is 52 years, SSA will pay them benefits as long as they are disabled until they reach full retirement age, which means each will receive an estimated $277,500 in future benefits. That’s an estimated future total of $79,087,500!

Our hard work certainly paid off — the 285 clients who won their claims this year received over $6.5 million in back benefits and an estimated $79 million in future benefits for a total of $85 million in current and future benefits. We are very proud of this record, especially given the challenges we and our clients faced this past year. Whatever the New Year brings, we will continue to bring our best to the table, and we’ll continue to get great results for clients.
