How to Get Social Security Disability Benefits

In 2018, over 2 million people applied for Social Security Disability benefits. Most applicants are denied at the application level because they fail to prove they’re disabled and can’t work. To be eligible, you must have a health problem expected to last at least twelve months that prevents you from performing any type of work. Keep in mind there is no partial disability with Social Security. Although your skill set and age are factors in most cases, if you can work in any capacity you will be denied.
